Murder Mystery Weekend Breaks, Murder Mystery Days, After-Dinner Speakers
The Original Murder Company is one of the largest and most popular organisations offering murderously good murder mystery events (weekends, days, evenings) as well as after-dinner speakers, throughout the UK. Formed in 1991, The Original Murder Company is run by former police officers and consequently the storylines for their murder mysteries are based on real-life crimes.
We provide great corporate entertainment, teambuilding with a "twist" or simply a good night out with a difference.
The body! But whodunnit?
Our murder mysteries are startlingly different; our 'cases' (some based on genuine murders) are authentic and include:
- a scene of crime (the murder scene)
- forensic reports
- pathology reports
- interviewing suspects & witnesses
and all this is co-ordinated from an Incident Room with a Senior Detective as Events Co-ordinator.
As soon as you arrive at the venue you will meet your fellow sleuths. You will be shown the scene of the murder (or a detailed video of the murder scene) and your investigations into the murder mystery will commence! There will be presentations by former Senior Detectives giving an insight into:
- interviewing techniques
- how to interpret body language
- questioning / listening skills
- how murder investigations take place
- how murders have been solved
